About me
Hey, I’m Mary!
I'm in my last semester as a fashion merchandising student at Virginia Commonwealth University. I'm passionate about everything visual, including graphic design, advertising, and brand strategy. I had the amazing chance to study abroad in Korea last summer, where I rebranded a local artist. That encounter sealed my passion for storytelling and branding (you can read more about it in my thoughts!).
As an ISFJ, I thrive on creativity, attention to detail, and bringing ideas to life in a thoughtful, meaningful way. Outside of the realm of fashion and design, I typically spend time with my roommates and our cat, Chuck. I also enjoy oil pastels, watercolor (which you can see all over my website), and immersing myself in video games like Roblox, Minecraft, and Fortnite. My site is more than just my work—it’s a little glimpse into my life, filled with creativity, friends, and the things that inspire me.
Take a look around and enjoy!

I'm constantly inspired by the people around me and the world I interact with—both online and in real life. Whether I’m scrolling through design communities or simply walking down the street, I find creativity everywhere. I love soaking in inspiration from logos, posters, packaging, and anything visual that catches my eye. I'm always observing, always collecting ideas—sometimes without even realizing it—letting those little moments fuel my creative process.

What sets me apart is my creative foundation. I originally came to college as a photography major, so I naturally see the world through a camera lens—framing, lighting, and composition are always top of mind. That perspective helps me pay close attention to detail and approach projects with a unique visual sensitivity.
During my first year at VCU, I was part of the Art Foundations program, where I was exposed to a wide range of media and creative techniques. It was a hands-on experience that challenged me to think differently and explore beyond my comfort zone. I gained skills and insights that I might not have encountered had I jumped straight into Fashion Merchandising, and that diverse creative background continues to shape the way I approach design and branding today.
